Julie A Fuselier
Mrs. Julie Fuselier received her BSN for Southeastern Louisiana University in 1979 and in 1983, she received her master’s in Community Health Nursing through Tulane University’s MPH program. Her 32 years of nursing experiences have been broad and diverse, including working within inpatient, outpatient, and community settings as a staff nurse, health education/training coordinator, parish nurse, and now as a nurse educator. Since 2008, Mrs. Fuselier has been a full time nursing faculty lecturer in the baccalaureate pre-license program and the Learning Resource Center Director for the School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Her teaching responsibilities include instruction in the classroom/lab, director of the nursing labs, and community nursing clinical activities. She currently serves on the board of Sigma Theta Tau – Iota Gamma Chapter. She is active in leading international medical mission trips to Cochabamba, Bolivia, every summer since 2004 through Children’s Impact Network, serving the Bolivia Life Center (all-boy orphanage) and local villages.
