Elena Platonova is an Associate Professor of Healthcare Management in the Department of Public Health at UNC Charlotte. She received her Ph.D. degree in health care strategic management and organizational behavior from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2005.
Dr. Platonova has been involved in a number of research projects and publications focused on the inter-relationships among patient trust, patient satisfaction, and patient loyalty to primary care physicians. She is now involved in a research project focused on patient assessment of patient-centered medical home (PCMH) characteristics in free clinics and how it is associated with patient outcomes.
