A broadly-trained quantitative social scientist, his research interests span across multiple academic disciplines but converge under his expertise in research methods and data analytics. He is experienced in a variety of applied statistical techniques and works fluently on multiple software platforms.
His current research focuses on developing a theoretical and empirical framework to understand the relationship between consumption and human well-being in urbanized spaces. He has a research background in Engineering, Economic Geography and Public Policy.
Kailas has a PhD in Urban Regional Analysis and a Master’s in Transportation Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte
