March 6: Spring Break
Mar 13 Biographical sketch using primary sources from previous week, plus secondary sources. (Guidelines provided). In-class presentations. You will be asked to read aloud the first page of your sketch.

April 3 Discussion of Writing a Woman’s Life
Email the DRAFT (6 pages of the total of 12-15 will suffice) of your paper to Dr. Cox by Friday, April 6th. It should include a bibliography of primary & secondary sources on the woman you plan to write about (Guidelines provided)
April 10 No Class
April 17 Individual meetings with Dr. Cox to discuss the draft of your paper.
.April 24 No class. Work on your paper. I will hold office hours should you wish to discuss your papers further. 2-4:30 pm
May 1st: Last Day of Class. Turn in final paper. Read a section of your paper that you are particularly proud to share. It’s my birthday.
